ABOUT ME

My name is Esther and I am so grateful you are here! 

I am a multidisciplinary Canadian artist who is passionate about creating art with texture and exploring the human experience and emotions that tie the human tapestry together.  

Who I am is a complex tapestry woven with day dreams, my life experiences and a lineage of strong creative avant-garde women who helped shape me into who I am today. 

My story as an artist and creator began instinctively as a child, my artistic experience and expression comes from a lifetime of diving deep inward, exploring the people, the circumstances and life experiences I encountered and desperately trying to make sense of it all. 

In the chaos of exploration
In the rawness of facing my light and my darkness
In the brutal mirror of honest self-reflection 
In the dismantling of imposed labels and cages

I came to understand that I was given the gift of creativity and a deep sense of curiosity! It is my duty to share it with others, because I'm not alone in this life.
